Japan Designers’ Association (JDA) is an incorporated body authorized by Monbu Kagakusho (The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.), the greatest association with over 60 years’ history.
Having the main office in the Miyako Messe (Sakyoku, Kyoto), we have been active in the management of Japan Design Museum (also in the Miyako Messe), inheritance of traditional design culture and meeting the ever-increasing demands for new design for the future society. For this purpose we have held annual exhibitions, inviting public participation, the examination of Japan design patterns, along with the researches on various designs.
